Rilwan Idris, Esq is the Managing Partner of Transadvisory Legal, a premier law firm based in Abuja.

His expertise spans the disparate yet connected fields of litigation and transactional work and has over 10 years’ experience in project finance, energy & infrastructure, real estate, capital market, dispute resolution, oil and gas, energy and natural resources.

Rilwan obtained his Law Degrees from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and Nigerian Law School in Lagos.

He has led and structured notable commercial transactions for numerous clients in Nigeria.

For a decade and counting, Rilwan has handled several complex commercial disputes for high net worth individuals and companies in Nigeria and also represented numerous clients in pre and post election disputes from trial court/tribunal to the apex court.

As a Capital Market Solicitor, Rilwan has advised clients on numerous capital transactions. He is a member of the International Bar Association and the Africa Bar Association.

His firm, Transadvisory Legal recently expanded its legal practice and services across Sub-Saharan Africa through a strategic partnership with Africa Legal. The platform connects leading law firms in Africa, enabling collaboration on major international transactions.
